What Is Nicotine Addiction?

It is crazy that smokers know all the safety risks involved with smoking (like lung cancer and emphysema), know that there are well over 4,000 chemical compounds present in cigarette smoke (many of which are known to be carcinogens), and yet they tell themselves, just as so many others keep telling themselves, that they like smoking and that you do not feel the need to quit?

They should not worry; it’s not their fault.

It is because of an addiction to smoking.

Some people can quit smoking cold turkey, but there are not many people like that.

Smoking appeals not only on a physical level, but on a strong emotional one too. This is why it is so hard to quit, but you can do it!

You need a program that does not just help you deal with one part of the addiction, but both. Surveys show that programs that address both sides of the issue have a higher chance of success. You could try the all natural CigArrest system.

There may be many reasons why one would consider stopping smoking: for family, for health reasons, because the expense is just too high, or maybe all of the above.

Why is there addiction?

The physical part of addiction:

Your brain makes chemicals that help control your moods and if your brain does not produce enough of these chemicals then you could end up with bad temperedness and bad mood swings. Nicotine helps to stimulate the creation of these chemicals. These chemicals include norepinephrine, which regulates alertness and arousal, dopamine, which is part of your brain’s pleasure circuitry, and beta endorphin, which helps to reduce anxiety and pain.

Unfortunately, these reactions to smoking are short lived and sooner or later you desire to feel them again. Sooner or later, your mind and body are tricked into thinking that smoking is the only means to create these feelings.

The emotional aspect of addiction:

On reflection, you remember that cigarettes have helped you in many situations: cigarettes have helped you relax during times when you felt stressed or helped keep you more alert in periods when you needed to stay awake (like driving home late at night or when you needed to complete a project). Cigarettes might have assisted you socially at a party, coffee house, or at work because you automatically have that link to other smokers. When you needed it, it was there for you.

The truth of the matter is you don’t need it as much as you think. You have the ability to be a confident, merry person, without the mood-enhancing effects of cigarettes. But first you need to stop smoking. This is where the CigArrest program can help you. Nicotine can stay in your body between 2-4 days once you have given up cigarettes. This is why nicotine programs that offer to help you stop smoking can prolong your need for nicotine because your body will continue wanting it.

Since CigArrest has no nicotine, so you won’t have that problem. CigArrest equips you with everything you need to quit the nicotine addiction. CigArrest can help you fight the urge to light up with CigArrest Tablets, and with CigArrest Gum you can resist the oral fixation of smoking. CigArrest also provides you with VitaGuard Smoker’s Vitamins which helps fight any cell damage that has resulted from smoking and helps strengthen your immune system. The welcome kit also includes an audio CD that helps you discoverlearn how to avoid smoking in any situation and a program guide and exercise handbook to help you understand the program and to remain smoke free for life.

Nicotine Withdrawal:

When trying to give up smoking the biggest obstacle is nicotine withdrawal. Withdrawal symptoms are both physical and emotional. Physically the body reacts to the lack of nicotine and emotionally you are faced with mood swings. Both requirements must be faced in order to successfully give up smoking. A smoker will normally feel physical withdrawals even just a few hours after their last cigarette, but it is even greater after 2-3 days. Symptoms include: dizziness, depression, frustration, anger, anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbances, concentration problems, headaches, and increased appetite that can last up to a few weeks. It is these signs that cause smokers to easily relapse after trying to stop smoking cold turkey.

There are lots of items out there to help you give up smoking, but when they only address one side of stopping, such as the physical aspect, you end up having a bigger chance of failure.

In order to reduce this chance, it is important to find a program that has items that contain ingredients in order to help you fight the physical symptoms of quitting and that help you fight the emotional and behavioural side of stopping as well. Natural ways to deal with nicotine withdrawals include exercise and getting more relaxation. Try taking a multi vitamin like CigArrest VitaGuard Smoker’s Vitamins that can help offset nicotine withdrawal symptoms and replenish depleted vitamins. Try CigArrest all-natural pills that include ingredients like Peruvian Bark (which helps to treat edginess, nervousness, and indigestion), Spurge Laurel (which helps fight sleeping problems), Calcium Phosphate (which helps treat headaches), and Nux Vomica (which helps treat insomnia and irritability). Also, chewing gum like CigArrest Gum, which also has ingredients to help offset nicotine cravings, can help you replace the oral fixation of smoking.

Alarm Clocks And Team Work Online

Have you ever purchased an item of equipment that you thought could come in very handy only to leave it lying around for months because you could not figure out how to set it up? Or not set all the functions up, because it would have cost hours to read through the manual, which looked as if it had been translated by a computer anyway?

Most individuals have undergone the state of affairs at some time or another. I had an alarm clock once that had dozens of features like waking me up at different times on the weekend to during the week and randomly selecting a radio channel every day to wake me up. It also had a feature with which I could train it to understand some voice commands, but I could not be concerned with all that.

I just wanted it to wake me up whenever I set it. Video recorders are similar items. How many times do you hear of individuals setting their video recorder to record a movie only to get a soap opera on another channel? It used to happen a lot, did it not?

The aspect that I am getting at here is that the designers of these machines have been told to put as many features as possible into them up to a price in order to be all things to all people. However, in making their equipment so complicated, a lot of people decide not to bother using them at all and will avoid that make in the future, which is the precise opposite of what the manufacturers intended.

The next time you go out looking for some electrical implement, you will say to yourself: “Oh, So-And-So, you need a degree to use one by So-And-So. I’m not getting one of those”.

So how can this affect you? Well, if you have to organize anything that you expect others to take part in or be animated about, try not to make it excessively complex. I am not saying ‘dumb-down’, just don’t show off by putting all the bells and whistles on it merely to show that you can do that. People will not thank you for it, they will take no notice of your project.

This has a great deal of implications for on line projects where individuals can be hundreds of miles apart but still be working together on a joint project from home. Open source programming is a good example of this type of work. The team leaders should keep everything as simple as possible if they want the maximum co-operation.

One way that you can use to test to see if your venture is being understood is to ask. It sounds obvious and it should be, but a lot of team leaders will not ask because they think that it makes them look weak and unknowledgable. Again, in fact, the opposite is the case. A good team leader is not a despot; a good team leader is a good organizer and is considerate.

Enhance Your Coaching Abilities With Alternative Methods

Many people out there want to be a better coach for many different reasons and I life. It really doesn’t matter what your reasoning is for wanting to enhance this area of your life, as we all have different aspects that we want to work on for our own specific life path.

I would like to take you through some new techniques today by incorporating different types of complementary therapies and alternative methods into your life so that you can enhance this area.

To enhance your own abilities so that you can be a better coach in our life, you have to understand how this works within your own energy fields. What type of images/across your mind for this specific work? What type of emotions does this bring up?

Alternative therapies are not just for a healing aspect for your health in today’s society. You can use these in many different areas of your life, such as this one in particular, so that you can have the best life possible.

When you’re talking about this type of work and how it can relate to your life so that you can be a better coach, you have to understand everything is about balance. When you talk about balance, you have to understand it is working with the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels for this type of work to be successful.

So how do you go about doing all of this? That’s a great question, and I am here to help show you how with some simple techniques.

When you’re talking about a specific area of your life, you have to first understand how this relates to you as a whole person. So let’s use for instance the specific area that you’re working on right now on learning to be a better coach.

So how does this make you feel on a mental level? What about on a physical level for your body issues? How about on a spiritual level connection from within? Did you even know that you have to balance all of these out?

When you’re working with new types of therapies in their life, you have to understand that every person will have different responses for these questions that they are working on, even if they are all working on enhancing the lives to be a better coach. We all have different pathways that led us to this point, so all of these questions will be answered differently.

But let me reiterate that probably one of the biggest keys for this type of work is to find that balance from within for all of these different areas.

Many different modalities of complementary and alternative therapies exist in the world today. I’m going to share with you a few to get you started in this article.

One of my favorite techniques to work with this energy healing. You can be trained in a Reiki energy healing format to work on being a better coach in your life. For this it is all about self-healing for different types of areas in your life. If you have emotional issues for this, you want to work on self-healing for the emotional concerns. If you need to develop a stronger mental attitude, work with your self-healing for this area as well.

You can work with meditation techniques to help advance your own different types of abilities for this. Remember when working with meditation, it is not about how long you meditate, but rather that you calm your mind for this process.

Each person is going to resonate differently with different types of alternative and complementary therapies in their life when there working on learning how to be a better coach. You have to find the ones that resonate within your own energy for this type of work.

You can be the best coach possible if you incorporate some of these new alternative and complementary therapies into your life today. Give it a try and see what type the success you have!

Four Tips For A Telephone Interview

Nowadays more and more interviews or at least first round interviews are held on the phone. In these days of soaring unemployment, there are sometimes hundreds of applications for a single job, so employers cut the numbers down by holding first round telephone interviews.

Therefore, it makes sense to learn how to deal with such an interview. In this piece, we will give four tips on how to become more successful at telephone interviews.

# 1 Smiling: it sounds strange to advocate that smiling can make a difference in a tele-interview, but it can and it does. Smiling creates a transformation of attitude and conveys confidence. This confidence will be experienced by the interviewer. In the same vein, if you normally gesticulate a great deal, gesticulate whilst you are on the telephone too. Just be natural and normal and attempt to be relaxed. This all boils down to smiling, so attempt to smile in your telephone interview.

#2 Telephone: use a decent quality telephone. Why? Because your voice and your intonations will sound more natural. In the days when everybody rented their telephone units from their telephone companies, before it was compulsorily de-regulated by the government, everyone had a decent, if costly, telephone.

Nowadays, you are allowed to purchase your own phone and plug it in. However, this frequently leads to people buying a cheap phone with poor reproduction qualities or keeping on using a phone long after it should have been replaced. Therefore, carry out your interview over a telephone of decent quality so that the interviewer can get an accurate sense of who you are.

#3 Research: be sure you have researched the company you want to join. If you feel as if you know the firm that you have applied to, you will feel much more confident and this confidence will come over in the interview.

Employers like it whenever their (prospective) employees are interested enough in their company that they have conducted some research into it. Having done research will also prepare you for questions like: why do you prefer to work for us? And what value do you believe that you can bring to our firm?

#4 Truth: the fourth tip is to be true to yourself. In other words, be yourself. Do not strive to say what you think the interviewer wants to hear. If you only say what you think they would like to hear, you will come across as sycophantic and if you win the job you might not like it there anyway. Be yourself and find the correct job for you.

You could practice your interview techniques in mock-ups with friends or family playing the role of the interviewer. Do not forget, that the main thing in a telephone interview is confidence, so do anything you can to raise your level of confidence and do everything that you can that allows that confidence to be conveyed.

How To Stop Smoking Cigarettes

Smoking cigarettes used to be a great deal more popular than it is today. Now most smokers are searching for methods of stopping smoking. This is because smokers and the general public at large are more conscious of the dangers of smoking cigarettes nowadays.

Just look at films manufactured in the Sixties and before, everyone is smoking. It shows how common smoking was compared with today. This would not be possible now as you may not smoke in public places, on public transport, in restaurants or in bars any more in most Western countries and elsewhere too.

The problem with smoking is that not only the smoker suffers, so does everyone around about the smoker. This is known as passive smoking and it has an effect on those working or living with smokers – a barmaid or a spouse for example. So, all these individuals are endangering their health so that tobacco firms can become richer.

No matter how long someone has been smoking, it is possible to quit the habit. Anyone who has stopped smoking will tell you that stopping smoking cigarettes is all to do with the mind. You really have to desire to stop smoking or you will not do it successfully.

Individuals have different ways of stopping smoking cigarettes. Some say that nicotine patches or nicotine gum help, because you can wean yourself off nicotine slowly without having to inhale the poisonous smoke of cigarettes. Nicotine is highly addictive and most of the chemical withdrawal symptoms have to do with the shortage of nicotine in the body.

Most individuals find that the single effective way of stopping smoking cigarettes is to give up smoking dead – in one go. It is very difficult to cut down or to swap to a weaker brand. You are still inhaling poisonous smoke. It is still no good to you or anyone around you.

Cutting down or switching brands is not effective, because you will still smoke other smokers’ and you will still be in a smokers’ environment. You will also find yourself smoking tomorrow’s five cigarettes today, promising not to smoke any the next day. That never works. You have to quit smoking dead.

There are several situations that can provide the motivation to give up smoking cigarettes. Illness is usually high on the list. A few years ago two friends of mine who smoked heavily stopped smoking cigarettes within weeks of every other.

One was in his sixties and had smoked for almost sixty years: he was told that his lungs were beginning to go, but that if he stopped smoking, the shock might kill him. He stopped smoking one morning and is still alive, but what a dilemma!

The other was in his fifties and drove a great deal as a travelling salesman. The physician told him that he would almost certainly have to have a leg removed next year, if he did not give up smoking and that the other may go a year or so after that. He stopped smoking instantly and still has both legs.

So it seems that the trick to stopping smoking cigarettes successfully is to find your incentive (do you want to live long enough to see the grandchildren married?) and bear that image in front of you at all times. Take nicotine substitutes if you have to and stay away from environments where people smoke more, like taverns.Join a sports club instead, something like tennis, table tennis, swimming or even chess.

So, You Want To Stop Smoking?

If you are a smoker, then the overwhelming odds are that you have tried to give up smoking, even if you never told anyone that you were attempting to give up. The old joke among smokers is that they have given up giving up.

That is a real pity and a very sad joke. Most smokers began while they were young and impressionable, but it takes a great deal of willpower to give up for life.

If you are attempting to give up smoking, then I hope that some of the tips set out below will be of use to you in your task to kick the habit. The truth is that it takes most people years to really give up smoking, although there are plenty of people who give up one day and never smoke again – ever.

It just depends on the type of person you are really. Individuals can cut down gradually and others know that if they are going to quit, then they need to make a clean break once and for all.

It is simple to judge progress with the person who ceases from one day to the next, but a great deal harder to do the same with someone who cuts down. For instance, how long is someone going to take to cut down from one packet a day to two?

How does a partner know when someone is smoking ten cigarettes an evening, that they have not already smoked thirty during the day? It is very difficult.

In the end, the quitter is alone and if he or she wants to tell lies about their progress, they can. No-one else will know, but at the end of the day, they are merely telling lies and trying to fool themselves that they are trying to give up smoking. Having said that, a smoker must reward himself for each step of real progress.

A decent tip is not to rely on just one strategy to give up. For example, you could wear a patch and reduce your intake by five or ten real cigarettes every week. Try nicotine gum at the same time.

Always tell people that you are giving up and never take a cigarette off anyone and never give anyone one either. Do not get into ’rounds’ or ‘flashes’ of sharing cigarettes.

If you find that you smoke more when you are in a stressful situation, such as at the time to submit the end of year accounts, hold off attempting to quit until after then. One of the times that most smokers have a big problem cutting down is whilst they are in the pub drinking alcohol with their friends. This is probably the hardest time to conquer the habit.

Many people like a cigarette with a drink after finishing work and if you fit into this category, attempt to go home from work for a drink or give up smoking with a friend and take it in turns to go to their house and yours for a drink after work. Once the first three months are up, you could go back to the pub and see how you get on or you just may not want to anymore.

Why Should I Quit Smoking?

Giving up an addiction which you’ve had almost all of your life can be extremely hard. Many smokers want to quit their unhealthy habit, but procrastinate because they feel that it’s too late or too hard for them to quit. Fortunately this is not true. It is never too late to change any bad habit, even of a lifetime.

The whole process of quitting smoking will probably take a long time and will require dedication and courage on behalf of the smoker. Although at first it may be hardl to stop being addicted to nicotine, as a smoker who wants to stop, it is best to focus on the benefits of stopping smoking that you will get.

It’s a well-known fact that smoking is the cause of many different kinds of cancers and illnesses. Doctors say that each time a person smokes a cigarette, he or she is losing part of their life time, health, cash and even esteem. We live in a world of many anti-smoking institutions trying to ban smoking that smokers are generally not seen in a favourable light. So why not consider the benefits of stopping smoking and lose your addiction instead of losing everything for the sake of a cigarette?

They say that health is wealth and one of the top benefits of quitting smoking is to live a higher quality of life. It does not matter whether you’ve smoked for a couple of years or have been a chain smoker all your life. What matters is that you have decided to quit. Starting from that day, you will be able to live a better life with fewer infections meaning less time in hospital.

The benefits of quitting smoking are not only the improvement in health and an increase in life span, but it can also have a positive effect on social life – you will have more friends and more respect. Once a smoker stops this deadly addiction he or she will have a lower risk of developing cancer and heart disease. It will also mean that the ex-smoker will breathe fresher air instead of cigarette smoke, which will mean less bouts of coughing and wheezing.

The benefits of quitting smoking are almost endless. For example, smoking can have an adverse effect on people’s sexual health, dumping the habit would mean that the fertility rate would improve. Unlike previously, you’ll have whiter teeth, fresher breath and a higher energy level. Furthermore, people around you will finally have fresh air to breathe. Another benefit is the savings in your purse. Cigarettes are costly. So, stopping smoking would mean that the money that was used for cigarettes could be used for other good causes like as pampering yourself with a little bit of what you fancy.

The benefits of stopping smoking are indeed many and the plus-points of smoking are yet to be discovered. For sure, it brings in a lot of tax revenue and keeps some people in gainful employment, but then smokers take more sick days and spend more time at the doctor’s than their non-smoking colleagues. Smokers say it calms their nerves, but so would relaxation techniques such as yoga even sitting down. Let’s face it, public mood has moved against smoking with smokers being vilified and pitied these days. Smokers also look rather pathetic nipping out of the restaurant or pub for a cigarette every hour or less, don’t they?

Alarm Clocks And Collaboration On Line

Have you ever bought an item of equipment that you thought could come in really handy only to leave it lying around for months because you could not figure out how to set it up? However, in making their machines so convoluted, a great deal of people decide not to bother using them at all and will avoid that make in the future, which is the exact opposite of what the manufacturers intended.

The next time you go out looking for some electrical implement, you will say to yourself: “Oh, So-And-So, you need a diploma to use one by So-And-So. I’m not getting one of theirs”.

So how can this affect you? Well, if you have to coordinate anything that you expect others to take part in or be animated about, try not to make it overly complicated. I am not saying ‘dumb-down’, just don’t show off by putting all the bells and whistles on it merely to show that you can do that. People will not thank you for it, they will take no notice of your project.

This has a great deal of implications for on line projects where people can be thousands of miles apart but still be collaborating on a joint development from home. Open source programming is a fine example of this type of work. The team leaders should keep everything as simple as possible if they want the maximum co-operation.

It sounds self-evident and it should be, but a lot of team leaders will not ask because they think that it makes them look weak and unknowledgeable. Again, in fact, the opposite is true. Introduction To Tax Deeds

Tax Deed investing is a great opportunity to start investing in real estate. If you are looking for a new investment venture, you may have looked into buying real estate. The real estate market has never been better. The unfortunate economy is causing property owners to fall behind on their property taxes. Counties budget on having all property taxes, so the deficit is a big problem for them. Counties need a way to make up the difference. Some counties sell tax liens, while other sell tax deeds.

Some counties give property owners the chance to come current on their taxes and some do not. Either way if owner doesn’t pay the taxes the Tax deed gives the new deed owner the right to purchase the property. In this case you can purchase the property at a fraction of the value and receive a huge return on your investment.

If you decide to take advantage of the opportunity to buy the property you have several great options you can move forward with. You can decide that you want to live in the property, which will give you a great home at a great value for the price. Or you can choose to sell this property. If you choose to sell you can make a good profit selling straight off, or you can spend some extra time and money fixing it up to make an even greater profit-it’s all up to you.

Like any other investment you’ll want to know exactly what you are getting into before you purchase a Tax Deed. You’ll purchase the deed at an auction that is set up by the county, but you can go to the county office before hand and get a list of the properties that will be up for sale there, so you can go look at them and do the research before bidding.

This is a flexible investing opportunity as far as capital is concerned. You can start putting in a lot right away or you start with as little as 450 to try it out and see if it would work for you. If you do your research and put in a little time, you can be successful at any level.

Eventually, you can spend as little as a few hours a week on this investing and make a good profit. However, you’ll want to spend some time when you start getting to know the market and you’ll want to talk to someone who has done this before to learn some of the tips and tricks of the business.
