Halo 3: Cheats

While searching for some Halo 3 cheats I discovered a couple of very enjoyable discussions about what would happen if Halo three Master Chief faced different characters from comic books, movies, and other fiction. In an previous feature about these matchups, Master Chief went 2-2. Can the Master Chief bring his record to more than this, or is he destined for fight club mediocrity?

Master Chief more than likely needs more than Halo 3 cheats to achieve victory in this contest, because he’s up against the all-powerful Q from Star Trek. Everyone knows the Master Chief is a cybernetically enhanced fighter with futuristic armour, shields, and the ability to cure himself. But Q is also a powerful, godlike creature who can make anything happen just by thinking it.

But, unfortunately for aficionados of Halo 3 and Master Chief, our advanced fighter is far over matched. Q may toy with him for a while, but in the end he would just wish him into oblivion. Therefore, so far Master Chief is 0-1.

Halo 3 cheats would not be something to use against the next contestant – he is just too honest. It’s Master Chief versus the most powerful puppet in the universe, Yoda from Star Wars. In reality Yoda isn’t a puppet anymore, because in the new movies he is a CG character. A pitched battle would it be, as Master Chief’s future weaponry Yoda’s mastery of the force faced. Like the battle between Yoda and the Emperor, this one would probably finish in a draw. Good thing these warriors are really both on the same side. Now Master Chief is 0-1-1.

We are also going to give Master Chief some Halo 3 cheats for this next contest, because he will be facing the unbeatable Incredible Hulk. Most people don’t understand the full range of the Hulk’s powers. Not only does he have super human might, superhuman stamina, superhuman durability, and the ability to regenerate himself, in some of his stories he’s also a genius.

But Master Chief has one thing going for him that even the Incredible Hulk cannot beat – patience. All he has to do is wait for the Incredible Hulk to quieten down, change back to his human self, and the Master Chief can jump in for the kill. Master Chief has brought things even at 1-1-1.

How about Master chief against Coach Ditka? If his knees are alright Coach Ditka may as well have the benefit of every one of the Halo 3 cheats ever made. With bad knees the match is merely made a bit closer. But in the end coach Ditka wipes the floor with super hero Master Chief.

Sorry, lovers of Halo 3, but even with Halo 3 cheats Master Chief has a losing score of 1-2-1.

Halo 3 Trial Download

The release of Halo 3 was fervently anticipated, as the game was the third in the original three-part series of the Halo games. Therefore, the Halo 3 free download was one of the most frequently downloaded game demos in the history of the Xbox 360. But what many people don’t remember is that the Halo 3 trial download helped make another game ie Crackdown.

What does the Halo 3 demo download have to do with any another video game? Well, it has a lot to do with the sale and marketing effort for a game that was originally planned for release on the Xbox system. Microsoft had become worried that Crackdown wouldn’t sell well.

Therefore, they used a marketing gimmick, the one of bundling Crackdown with an access code to the Halo 3 trial download. And it worked a treat in that Crackdown sold 1.5 million copies within the first half year of its release. Those aren’t Halo 3 numbers, which sold 8.1 million copies in just over a year, but for a lesser well-known game that’s absolutely fantastic.

Microsoft had resorted to the Halo 3 trial download tactic because of adverse opinions about the game from the play testers. They thought the nonlinear nature of the game off-putting, often leaving them asking themselves what they were supposed to be doing next.

As a result of this, the powers that be knew that something had to be done or the game would be a loser. It may appear shady practice at first to attempt to push sales of a game that’s expected to be unpopular, but in retrospect people love the game and it was a good thing that they were able to get the chance to play it.

In Crackdown, and that includes the version bundled with the Halo 3 trial download, people play the role of an agent who is assigned to beat the kingpins or leaders of various gangs. To do this they utilize various superhuman powers such as super strength and super fitness. In order to gain these powers, players have to accumulate experience by beating foes who then release experience orbs. The clever idea in the system was that the kind of orbs released was reliant on the manner in which the agent killed the enemy. For instance, a firearms orb appears if the enemy was killed with a gun.

So, although at first sight this game bundled with the Halo 3 trail download appears to be nothing but a veiled marketing trick, in fact, it exposed gamers to a fascinating new gameplay experience.

Halo 3

The other day, while looking through the Internet for information on the Halo 3 weapons cheats, I stumbled upon a number of what-if scenarios? What if Master Chief took on different famous characters from films, comic books, and legends? Here is a list of some of these battles and my idea of the outcome.

While it is technically not a Halo 3 weapon cheat, the contest between Master Chief versus Robocop would be interesting. According to the information on the Internet both have several similarities. They’re both human, they’ve both been enhanced, they both have amazing armour and they are both veteran fighters. Most respondents thought that Master Chief would beat Robocop, but let’s be honest here, Master Chief can be put down with a hand-gun, whereas Robocop kept on going after being blown up at a fuel station. The victor has to be Robocop.

If Master Chief battled with the next combatant he would do well to have a Halo 3 weapon cheat. The next is MacGyver. Master Chief has a lot going for him. He is proficient with a number of weapons; he has that amazing armour; he has some marvellous vehicles at his disposal; he’s a Clint Eastwood type loner and he can repair himself. However, in short, MacGyver is brain over brawn. It would probably come down to the same considerations in a fight between Batman and Superman. However, if it’s a closed arena where it’s man versus man, Master Chief is going to win. But put this contest in the real world with Swiss army knives and plastic tape at his disposal, and MacGyver’s going to wipe the floor with our bionic friend.

So far Master Chief is 2-0 down, it’s starting to look like he could definitely use a Halo 3 weapon cheat. But we’ll give him another chance. This time it’s Master Chief versus Terminator. We already know Master Chief’s powers, the Terminator’s are an ability to master every weapon, relentless willpower, doesn’t get tired, amazing detrermination to kill his target. It all boils down to the Spartan laser weapon. As one voter said, if Master Chief can destroy vehicles with this weapon he can certainly put a sizeable hole in the Terminator too.

Let’s have one more battle before Master Chief finds his Halo 3 weapon cheat. What can he do against Boba Fett from Star Wars? The only differences between Master Chief and Boba Fett are that Boba has no shields, owns his own ship and has a jet pack.

Many people believe Star Wars comes out on top in this battle, but Master Chief’s weapons are much more powerful than those owned by the bounty hunter. This one makes it two all, Master Chief goes 50-50.

So, those are the results. In this small poll that we read on the Internet, Master Chief is your average sort of super hero, who is not sure to win every fight, unless he finds his weapon cheats or the story writers want him to, that is.

Screen Shots From Halo 3

When a video game series is as wildly popular as the Halo series, which includes Halo 3, of course, then it’s bound to result in there being many screenshots takes. This article focuses on some of the weird and wild Halo 3 screenshots.

Before mentioning the Halo 3 screenshots specifically, let’s take a look at the figures that generate all of this media. Over 9 million copies of Halo 3 have been sold to date. That means that if every person who purchased the game plays for only 10 hours, there are more than 90 million hours of game time from which to choose screen shots. A lot can happen in 90 million hours, and with all the image-uploading websites online, a lot of it has been documented.

One of the things in Halo 3 that has frequently been documented in Halo 3 screenshots is the identity of Master Chief or more specifically, what his face is like. If you use Google to find the top 10 Halo 3 screenshots, you’ll find a picture of Master Chief lying dead on the ground, clearly not showing a face inside his helmet. This explains why we never see his face, say many players, because he does not really have one.

Another of the Halo 3 screenshots featuring in the top 10 Halo 3 screenshots is that of a Marine getting hammered on a floodgate. Someone commented that it looks a little bit like Han Solo when he was frozen in Carbonite. And guess what? – they’re absolutely right.

The designers of Halo 3 decided to make it a lot simpler for players to take Halo 3 screenshots and to share them all over the Internet. In order to achieve this, they created a ‘Saved Films’ feature in the video game. This feature permits people to slow down the action, or even to freeze it, change the camera position and even move the camera around to get exactly the screenshot they want to have. Generally speaking, the ‘Save Films’ feature records all the action that takes place in the game, so it can later be converted into videos are screenshots.

Yet another feature that has a little bit to do with Halo 3 screenshots in the ‘Save Films’ feature, is the viewing of previously saved films. You see, the saves are not just images or film, they are actual game data. This means two things: A] the file size is very small and B] the entire game can be watched from different angles on the Xbox 360.

Which means to say that a player can replay a game again and again, seeing new things in new places every time they watch it. That’s a lot better than simple Halo 3 screenshots.

Halo 3 Mod

A Halo 3 mod is generally considered to be any software modification that alters the game play in the super popular video game for the Xbox 360, Halo 3. But the terminology also encompasses many other modifications, such as physical changes made to the Xbox 360 console to show the world that you are a hard-core Halo fanatic.

However, before someone can make a Halo 3 mod, they need the proper tools, together with some technical expertise and knowledge. These tools would generally includes a number of pieces of software that allow people to de-construct, edit, and reconstruct Halo 3 files. It would also involve some hardware to allow the Xbox 360 hard drive to be uploaded into a PC and the files to be restored to that hard drive.

You have to do it this way, because the Xbox 360 is not a unit on which programs can be altered. In the past, the hardware developers, in this case Microsoft, made the tools available to people who paid the licensing fee. But as time passed, especially in the case of Halo 3 mods, the public developed a number of tools and techniques to achieve what has to be done for modification.

A Halo 3 mod also includes, as written earlier, physical alterations to the Xbox 360 console itself. For example, some people might remove the casing and actually carve the words ‘Halo 3′ out of it. They might also accompany this by painting the console red, blue or green to match the colour of the armour of their favourite heroes in the game.

However, it’s a pretty extreme way to announce to the world – I like Halo 3 – in that it could result in actual damage that makes the Xbox 360 unplayable. It would also void the guarantee. People often display their customized Xbox 360s on photo-sharing sites such as Flickr and when they go toattend live LAN events.

One of the things that people who are fanatical about the world of the Halo 3 mod try to focus on is that these should not be created for cheating. Modifications are fun to get a new twist on Halo 3 play, or a new look or feel for certain levels. But if they’re used to make the game unfair in favour of one person or team, they destroy the overall game experience for everyone.

One website where a person can find many a Halo 3 mod is H3mod.com. The site calls itself the ‘future of Halo modding’. It seems to me like a good place to start if you really want to learn about a certain Halo 3 mod.

When Was Halo 3 Released?

On May 15, 2007 the news was out, that Halo 3 would be released on September 25 in North America and the 26th in Europe. Halo 3 marked the third in a very popular series for the Xbox 360 called ‘Halo’. According to the vice president of Microsoft’s interactive entertainment business, Halo 3’s release was much more than only a video game release, it was the biggest entertainment event of the year. He might just have been right as well.

The full history of Halo 3 really has to start with the publication of the first game in the series ‘Halo: Combat Evolved’. In November, 2001, when Halo was first published, game consoles were somewhat of a joke as one-person shoot-em-up games. Sure, some games existed, but there weren’t the popular following that the PC games in the genre had.

That was all changed in Halo, in which players could fight aliens on foot and in vehicles, in order to complete objectives, while trying to unravel the secret of the Halo. Halo was the first to limit the amount of weapons a player could carry to two, which in turn, meant forcing the player to make strategic decisions in order to complete his missions.

People waited for the release of Halo 3 with baited breath. They awaited the continuation of the one-person, shoot-em-up combat format that had been prevalent in the two former parts of Halo. Microsoft calls it the ‘Golden Triangle of Halo’, which consists of gun-type weapons, grenades and others. In reality, this was not new to one-person, shoot-em-up games, as it had existed since the very first Doom and even the precursor to that game, “Wolfenstein”.

So, with all of that previous history, people were full of excitement over the Halo 3 release date. How popular and welcome was the game? Well, before its release, 3.1 million copies were sold in advance orders and retailers were sure that that was insufficient.

The game took over $300 million gross in the United States in only the first seven days. Overall, it has sold over nine million copies worldwide and was the best-selling video game in the United States in 2007. Even the critics liked it, putting it the seventh highest in the list of Xbox 360 all-time great games.

The Halo 3 release date, like the release date of many widely popular video games was almost like a holiday like Christmas or Easter. It beggars the question of what will happen with video games in the future?
